Building Project
Background and updates about the ongoing construction project for our new worship space.
Since the parish was founded in 2000, Holy Transfiguration has continued to grow in love, service, and membership. Over these nearly 25 years, our Church family has occasionally needed to relocate in order to accommodate our ever increasing congregation. Since 2006, we have been blessed with a building and property at 3491 Pleasant Grove Church Rd that have met our needs. However, the time has once again come that we have outgrown our current facilities and need to increase the size of our “storehouse” in order to receive the bountiful harvest that God has in store for the Raleigh-Durham area.
Parish Construction, 2010
In 2023, we purchased a nearby parcel of land upon which we intend to build a permanent worship space for our parish- a temple that will stand until Christ returns in glory. Our building project is currently underway, and we will continue to provide updates on its progress below. If you wish to join with us in this effort, you can join us in the following prayer, inquire with our Building Project Manager Casey Garland, or consider making a monetary contribution either in person or using the secure link above.
We pray that the Lord will guide, bless, and fulfill our good intentions to build a church for the glory of His name, defending this work from the attacks of visible and invisible enemies, and that He will enable us to grow in spirit and in numbers as a living witness to His love, power, and glory.
