To be disciples of Jesus Christ who understand and embrace the Apostolic Faith in our American context, through sacramental communion with God and one another, for the life of the world.
Our Story:
With the blessing of Archbishop Dmitri and the Orthodox Church in America Diocese of the South, Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church mission was established in Raleigh, NC in September 2000. After years of continued growth, our mission moved to our current location in Morrisville in 2006, and was granted full parish status in 2012.
Thanks be to God, our parish has continued to grow in love and in numbers since that time. With membership burgeoning beyond what the walls of our current facilities can accommodate, we purchased new property in 2023 and began the campaign to construct our new temple. God’s harvest in The Triangle is great; join us as we build up His storehouses!
